Activision recently released the PC system requirements for the highly anticipated release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. While the official post has been taken down, the minimum and recommended specifications give some insight into what PC gamers can expect.

In terms of minimum specs, players will need an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970, GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 480 to enjoy a playable version of the game. It’s important to note, however, that running a fast-paced shooter on the minimum specs may not provide the optimal gaming experience. It’s worth looking at the recommended options for a smoother experience.

If you want 60 FPS in most situations, Activision recommends an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or GeForce RTX 3050. Surprisingly, this is not a significant increase over last year’s recommended GeForce GTX 1060. This means that most PC gamers should be able to enjoy the game without any performance issues.

It’s worth noting that an SSD with 65GB of free space is required for storage. It’s likely that Activision will release additional PC requirements for competitive play and 4K gaming in the near future.

If you’re considering diving into the thrilling world of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, make sure your system meets the following specifications:

Minimum Specifications:
– OS: Windows 10 64 Bit (latest update)
– CPU: Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
– RAM: 12 GB
– Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 / GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 480
– Video Memory: 3 GB
– Storage Space: SSD with 65 GB available space (25 GB with COD HQ downloaded)

Recommended Specifications:
– OS: Windows 10 64 Bit (latest update) or Windows 11 64 Bit (latest update)
– CPU: Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
– RAM: 16 GB
– Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 / GeForce RTX 3050 or AMD Radeon RX Vega
– Video Memory: 6 GB
– Storage Space: SSD with 65 GB available space (25 GB with COD HQ downloaded).

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is a direct sequel to 2022’s Modern Warfare II, with a brand new campaign and revamped multiplayer. It’s also the first release in the long-running franchise since Xbox’s deal to acquire Activision Blizzard went through.
