Argentinian-based grunge-alt rock outfit Tribu has unveiled a new track entitled “Desvelo“. The cut is taken from the group’s upcoming EP. Listen to the track below.

Tribu is an Argentine quartet formed in June 2025. Made up of Facundo Castañeda (vocals, guitar), Andrés Bocco (guitar, vocals), Jonatan Maximiliano Rotela (bass) and Hernán Osuna (drums), the group combines the power of grunge and the adrenaline-fuelled energy of alternative rock, nu metal and rap with pop sensibilities and a rock forcefulness to create a distinctive DNA.

Echoes of Rage Against the Machine, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, Fluido, and Cielo Razzo are combined with Chicano and Latin elements (Molotov, Control Machete), as well as modern influences such as the British band Don Broco, their compatriots Architects and many others. Of course, national references (Divididos, Las Pelotas, Sumo) also crystallise in the band’s sound.

The Rosario-based combo made their debut in January 2026 at Floyd Pub, a popular venue in the city centre, before performing at Que Sea Rock, one of the most renowned local stages for the genre. They will soon be recording songs for their debut EP, due for release later this year, and will continue performing live.

The band states: “Tribu arises from a comprehensive concept: it does not refer to a musical group, but to an attitude towards life. In a world that promotes disunity, perhaps the most revolutionary act is to be part of something. Age, gender, country, race, religion, orientation — none of that matters. Let humanity, communion, camaraderie and empathy prevail. Be part of it. That’s what Tribu is all about. You are the tribe. Together, we are Tribu”.
